Insurrection brews in the kingdom of Asterland.

Bienia Ironfist, a stubborn dwarven shieldmaiden, and John Cotterill, an overly optimistic human bounty hunter, thought they’d found the perfect partnership. That is, until a simple “dead or alive” job to catch a mysterious woman turns into a tangled mess of politics, rebellion, and danger from every direction.

Now the pair are in far deeper than they planned—facing treacherous foes, unexpected allies, and a trail that leads straight into the icy wilds of the north. If they can survive trolls, mercenaries, and their own clashing personalities, they might just save the kingdom…
