Pouring Souls

In the neon-etched corners of the city, three women navigate a world that demands everything and gives nothing back. Joyce is a survivor who often feels like she’s disappearing. After years of drifting through sterile hospital wards and fractured memories, she’s back on the pavement, trying to stay anchored while a ruthless pimp pulls the strings. She knows her mind is a minefield, but she can’t explain why her world keeps skipping beats. Evelynn is the steady hand, weathered by a past that stole her chance at motherhood. She carries the hollow ache of the child she can never have, channeling that suppressed tenderness into a fierce, protective instinct. She is the soul of the trio, the one who remembers the pain the others have buried deep. Alisha is the blade in the dark. Young, cunning, and cold, she is the one who does what is necessary to survive. She doesn't just endure the streets; she conquers them, leaving a trail of blood in her wake to ensure no one ever hurts them again.Interwoven with haunting, lyrical poetry that captures the raw rhythm of the streets and the shattered echoes of their girlhood, this story follows three lives tethered by gaps in time and shared nightmares. As the walls of their reality begin to thin, Joyce, Evelynn, and Alisha must face a terrifying truth: the only way to survive the present is to unearth the secrets of a childhood that broke them all.
