Plus One Hatchet of Awesomeness

Grab your hatchets and down your health potions! Get ready to travel through the Worlds between Worlds in Plus One Hatchet, the first-ever middle grade LitRPG adventure from bestselling fantasy author Ryan Rimmel, author of the Noobtown series.

While on a camping trip with his parents, eleven-year-old Jaysen finds a staircase in the woods, which is something one should never climb. But he does. And Jaysen ends up in the office of Mister Mallard, a man with a duck for a head.

A full, entire duck. Not just a duck head.

Thus begins Jaysen’s strange journey in a desolate wilderness with only his hatchet and a know-it-all game guide, Mr. Owl, to help him. As he levels up his pioneer skills, fights spiders and raging boars and nasty crocodile-like creatures, and learns what hit points are (the hard way), Jaysen finds himself on a great quest to achieve the ultimate reward: getting back to Ohio.
