Omega Series

If you love corruption, conspiracy, mystery, and a whole hell of a lot of action, then Lacklan Walker and the OMEGA series is for you!

Ten years in the British SAS have turned Lacklan Walker into a supreme killing machine. That, and his twisted, dysfunctional family. His father, a Boston Brahmin Billionaire, taught him how to hate. His English Aristocrat mother taught him he didn’t belong. And when his only friend and childhood sweetheart, Marni, wanted to teach him how to love, he walked away from her, knowing all he would ever be good at was killing, and war.

When SAS vet. Lacklan Walker buries his father at the family graveyard in New England, the last person he expects to see at the funeral is his childhood friend and sweetheart, Marni — the woman who’d killed his father. To make things more complicated, his father’s dying wish was that Lacklan should look after her and protect her. Because Marni is on a mission, a mission to bring down the shadowy organization called Omega, the government within a government, a mission that might just save Mankind.

Hurricane Sarah, the largest in recorded history, is howling in off the Atlantic, straight toward New Orleans—and Lacklan Walker is headed for the eye of the storm. His father’s dying wish was that he keep Marni safe, but Marni has sworn to bring down Omega, the government-within-the government, and that is anything but safe.

SAS veteran Lacklan Walker has been searching for Marni. She murdered his father, but his father’s dying wish was that Lacklan should keep her safe; safe from Omega, the government-within-the government, whose plans for humanity Marni has sworn to expose. And that is anything but safe.

What should have been a simple drive turns deadly when Lacklan, distracted by exhaustion and a blizzard, ends up in the ghost town of Independence. There, he discovers the body of Peggy, a girl allegedly killed in a hit-and-run. Ignoring local warnings, Lacklan stays to uncover the truth, driven by a brutal need for justice and a vow to make those responsible pay.

It should have been a simple drive, from San Francisco International Airport, to Boulder, Wyoming, despite the snow. Was it because Lacklan was tired? Was it because he was thinking about the woman he loved, or the international crisis he had recently caused? Or was it the crazy blizzard that came out of nowhere and blinded him? Whatever it was, it made him turn the wrong way, it made him turn onto Bloody Creek Road, to the ghost town of Independence, population twenty-five.

The call came on a Sunday morning in March, in Independence: Go to Seattle, meet a man, he will give you instructions. But those instructions send Lacklan on a journey he could not have suspected, protecting a senator who might be the last best hope of mankind, fleeing before the storm, hunted by killers and law enforcement alike. And when he finally reaches his destination, he discovers his ordeal has only just begun… But Lacklan, after ten years in the SAS, after a life of killing, has had enough.

It is almost two years since Lacklan walker, veteran Captain with the British SAS, helped Carmen Vazquez escape from the clutches of the Sinaloa Cartel in Arizona. He never expected to hear from her again, and he certainly never expected to hear from her brother. So when Lacklan receives a text message claiming to be from Charlie Vazquez, saying that he is in New York, that his life is in danger and that he needs help, Lacklan is intrigued, to say the least.

Chaos is creeping in on Lacklan’s life like an infection into an open wound. And that chaos all seems to come from one place, Omega: Omega the ruthless, shadowy government within a government, Omega that he had sworn to destroy, Omega whose leaders he had sworn to kill, in order to protect his family, his wife and her children. But it seems that however many members of Omega he kills, more keep swarming up, like rats out of a sewer. And now it looks like even the ones he’s killed are coming back. Chaos is turning into a nightmare.

Captain Lacklan Walker, ten-year veteran of the British SAS, has delivered a devastating blow to his arch enemies, Omega, the shadowy world government that has been manipulating world affairs, guiding them toward a single, inescapable catastrophic event out of which they would rise supreme. But now they are crippled, all but finished…

Lacklan Walker, ten-year veteran of the British SAS, made a promise to his dying father: he would bring down the secret organization known as Omega, the shadowy government within a government that ran world affairs. He also promised he would care for Marni, his childhood sweetheart. But Marni has betrayed him and Omega is all but destroyed - His enemy is dead and his life no longer has meaning.

Ex SAS Captain Lacklan Walker can’t catch a break. After two tough years his arch enemy, Omega, the shadowy government within a government, are broken and Lacklan is drifting, trying to heal, heading slowly home. That’s how he winds up in Tucson, Arizona, just in time to witness a drive by shooting in which beautiful, innocent, eighteen year-old Celeste Martinez, gets gunned down and dies, holding Lacklan’s hand, staring into his eyes—in Cora’s Golden Café parking lot, a hundred and fifty yards from the Santa Cruz Tucson PD Station.

USA TODAY & Amazon 3-million copy bestselling author BLAKE BANNER is at his best with his original action-packed thriller series! What do you do when what you most crave in life is peace and the warmth of a family, but all life has taught you is how to fight and how to kill? What do you do when you have turned your back on violence and killing, when you’ve started to make that home, and the enemy you thought was dead comes knocking at your door? For Lacklan Walker, ten year veteran of the SAS, that question had only one answer. You go in fighting.

It should have been a simple drive, from Malaga Cove in LA, to Weston, outside Boston. But it didn’t work out that way. Maybe it was because Lacklan had his mind on the plans he’d been discussing with Jim Redbeard in Los Angeles, plans to assassinate high ranking Russian and Chinese officials - the last remaining members of the Omega cabal; or maybe it was because he was thinking about Marni, shot in the stomach in Oxford as they were planning to make their life together.

Captain Lacklan Walker, son of a Boston Brahmin, spent ten years in the British SAS, nursing his hatred for his father, and learning how to kill – a skill at which he is the best among the best. Yet when his father was on his death bed, Lacklan made him two promises: that he would find and protect Marni, his own childhood sweetheart, and that he would destroy Omega, a shadowy organization of elite billionaires who seek to control world events, the world economy, and the world’s future. An organization of which his father was a leading member.
