A Luna Thorn Witchy Mystery

Luna Thorn appeared in a swirl of pink lights with no memory of where she came from or why she was suddenly in Detroit of all places. Now, years later, she’s positioned herself as a beacon of good in a very dark place. That means it’s time to figure out where she belongs. With the help of the friendly neighborhood reapers, Luna is about to embark on an adventure that will have her traveling through time and facing the sort of terror that she never expected to come up against.

Luna Thorn’s past is a mystery...even to herself. She arrived in Detroit amid a swirl of lights and magic. She had no memory of where she came from. No idea why she was there. Years later, she’s established herself as a force to be reckoned with on the Detroit magical scene. She ingratiated herself with the local reapers. She set up a community called the Cathedral to help those who had been displaced from their homes and families, declaring that nobody would fall through the cracks. Still, doubt remains.

Luna Thorn sprang into being in the middle of the night in a downtown Detroit park years ago. She had no memory of her past and no idea what the future would hold for her. The only thing she possessed was magic—and the determination to win at all costs. She’s finally about to get the answers she’s been looking for. There are zombies popping up on Detroit’s mean inner city streets. They’re not normal zombies, however. They move fast and don’t go down under the usual methods. They have a mission, though, and the only thing that stops them is death.

Luna Thorn is a witch about town. She likes to fancy herself a loner, but the truth is, she has the weight of the world resting on her shoulders. Gorgons are infiltrating Detroit, and they’ve set their sights on Luna. They want her. The question is: why? Luna is determined to find out. It won’t be easy.

Luna Thorn was happy being a witch. Being a traveler is another thing entirely. Just when she thinks she’s ready to wrap her head around her new reality, though, things fall apart. Again. Absolute chaos descends on Detroit when a federal investigator focuses his attention on Luna…and he seems determined to take her down. Paranormal problems are one thing. Being considered a suspect in the death of a man masquerading as a police officer is another. Wherever Luna goes, the Feds follow…and it’s seriously cramping her style.

A killer has come to Detroit, and he’s knocking off pink-haired women and leaving them in area parks. Is he looking for Luna Thorn? He just might be. As if time traveling and meddlesome reapers weren’t enough to deal with, Luna has a new problem… and it’s wearing a mask. Constant horror movie jokes aside, as each body drops, the pressure weighing down Luna continues to build. She can’t take another moment of uncertainty. So, that’s when her mother returns and firmly inserts herself into Luna’s life. Luna has been looking for answers for a long time.

Twenty years ago teenager Bree Watson had the world at her fingertips. The only thing she was worried about was which Grimlock brother she had the biggest crush on. Then, in a moment of confusion while playing with a Ouija board, she disappeared. Nobody knew what happened to her. Her parents were cleared of suspicion. The girls with her that night didn’t have any answers. She was just gone. And now she’s back. Luna Thorn knows something is very wrong with what happened. Bree went somewhere for twenty years but she came back looking the same, and claiming no time has passed. It’s a miracle…

Luna Thorn’s past keeps coming back to bite her … and in a very uncomfortable place. Now that she can access her magic easily, her memories are on the menu. There’s just one little problem. A night out at a Detroit festival turns into a feeding frenzy as a nest of vampires descends and attacks. Luna manages to call for help and fight them off, but it becomes apparent soon after that the vampires were sick. And not just with any illness, but with one that was eradicated centuries before. What’s worse, all of the people injured during the attack are now infected.

Luna Thorn has a lot on her plate. Between construction at the Cathedral—she’s getting a second greenhouse, thank you very much—and all the pesky time travel stuff she’s been dealing with, she doesn’t have time for much else. Of course, that’s when her boyfriend, Jesse, has a past girlfriend show up … and she seems interested in getting her high school paramour back. She’s going to ply him with baked goods until he sees things her way, at the very least. Luna would love to work up a full head of jealous steam, but she has one other problem to deal with.
