Follow Lindie Lou who learns to swim, visits Pike Place Market, meets new friends and learns life lessons along the way. The adventures continue when she discovers Rachel the Pig, sees flying fish, orca whales and discovers the famous gum wall.

While visiting a remote island in the archipelago of Svalbard, Norway, Lindie Lou meets up with family members and decides to go on her own adventures. A playful polar bear cub, a brave Svalbard reindeer, and a clever arctic fox join her along the way. But, visiting the Arctic in December, during the darkest time of the year, presents its own challenges.

In book six, Lindie Lou travels to the island country of New Zealand, also called Aotearoa (Au-tay-uh-row-uh), where she finds a rare pounamu (poo-na-moo) greenstone. Lindie Lou learns about the HMS Buffalo shipwreck and wonders if this sacred stone was left behind by the crew. While looking for answers, Lindie Lou, her sister Diamond, and their friends, visit a local museum. The helpful manager introduces them to a Maori sand artist who tells a story about a real lost treasure worth looking for.
