Knight of the Dragon Academy

For centuries, the Academy of the Draconic Order in the ancient city of Avilus has sent its graduates into the world to seek dragons suffering from a magical curse, one that hobbled their intellect and reduced them to dumb beasts. Only those who find and cure a dragon earn the right to be called Draconic Knights.

Roland has outwitted the great families of Avilus and resolved the dilemma of his choice of Squire in one fell swoop. But his dreams of a noble quest for his dragon are soon shattered by the reality of managing two beautiful women who hate each other as much as they want to serve him – perhaps even more. The travails of the road and the wilderness soon lay bare both Antonia’s and Laetitia’s shortcomings as Squires and their need for growth before they will be ready for their own quests.

Roland, Antonia, and Laetitia have formed a trio despite their many differences, and they’ve settled into a close-knit team. But Roland still has to find a dragon to cure of the Curse, and the great families of Avilus continue to conspire against him. Yet Roland’s oldest friend Gretchen Evansdottir is searching for her own dragon, and her quest has not gone well. Returning to the Academy after the death of her Squire, Gretchen falls in a new web of intrigue that – with Roland’s help – could accomplish something no Seeker has ever managed before.
