Hunting A Serial Killer

Join former Metropolitan Police detectives Colin Sutton, Mark Leach and Jo Brunt as they start their investigation into the cold case murders of three young women in the 1970s. Mother of two Lynda Farrow was 29 years old and pregnant when she was brutally murdered in her home in Woodford, East London in January 1979. Her throat had been cut.

It was March 1975 and 21 year-old Playboy Bunny Eve Stratford had her entire life ahead of her. She had a job that she loved and mixed with the rich and famous in London's most glamorous club but deep down she aspired to become a model and when she posed for a topless shoot for Mayfair magazine, this did not go down well with her employers. Weeks after the magazine hit the shelves, Eve was found dead in her home. She had been tied up, raped and had her throat cut in the most gruesome way imaginable.

Months after Eve Stratford’s murder, the lifeless body of 16 year-old schoolgirl Lynne Weedon was discovered in an alley in Hounslow. Lynne had walked home from the pub after a night out and was never seen alive again. She had been raped and battered to death with a blunt object. On the surface, this murder looked very different to the other two so how, when a cold case investigation was opened years later, was it eventually linked to the murders of Eve Stratford and Lynda Farrow?

As Colin Sutton, Mark Leach and Jo Brunt move forward with their investigation into the murders of Lynda Farrow, Eve Stratford and Lynne Weedon, the team looks back over the information they have gathered through the new interviews and finally, a suspect starts to emerge. Have they found a serial killer? With the information gathered and ready to present to the Metropolitan Police, Colin and his team can do no more so all that's left is to let the families of the victims know of the progress and hope that there's an end in sight to the nightmare they have been living for all these years.
