Gabrielle, an "at-risk" young lady coming from a poor neighborhood in New York City, finished her college degree last semester. She was working for peanuts at the time when a better job came through, requiring her to move 200 miles away from home to Boston to work for a new startup. 

A blessing in disguise....

Mentally and physically drained from the urban nuisances, she braced herself to take advantage of this newfound opportunity, hoping to officially launch her working career. She didn't know that the history of bias and xenophobia in Boston may test the patience and perseverance of this young African American. But Gabrielle would be willing to risk it all for a better lifestyle. 

First day on the job and Gabrielle could lose her freedom after being charged with a crime that no one imagined could have taken place.
