Adalia and her sister Jamari Moore are teenage gamers obsessed with vanquishing demonic creatures in a massively multiplayer online world called "The Golden Age". They lead a closely knit guild of players in weekly dungeon raids and guild versus guild war games also known as war zones. Their brilliant combat tactics and ruthless fighting prowess has gained the attention of Divine Enterprises.

An unsuspecting window shopper is violently thrown through a department store window in downtown Chicago. Her attacker, Adalia Moore, seeks vengeance and information on a missing warrior. A news reporter and his camera man accidentally capture the incident and soon find themselves witnessing a supernatural war.

The Book of Revelation describes a war in heaven between angels led by the Archangel Michael against those led by "the dragon". Adalia Moore and her guild, The Lords of Light, return from Hell broken and on the precipice of madness. Mending their bodies proves easy. Addressing their heightened aggression and thirst for violence is another matter.
