This novel is the first in what I call the Generational series. Each novel in this series follows a member of the classes of 1902, 1922, 1942, 1962, 1982, 2002, and 2022 through the course of his or her life. Each of those lives will have successes and failures, as do all our lives. Some of those successes and failures are due to the person, some due to forces beyond their control. One can't help but ask if one would have done the same things these characters did?
