Minisc hates the pressure, though, and wants only to bring his mother’s dying wish to life: unity and peace between humans and Elementalists, the recently evolved species capable of controlling and wielding elements such as light, fire, and water.

With Minisc Lily and Jules still reeling from the tragedies that befell everyone at the Tournament of Elements, fractures begin to form.

Minisc Premier has spent his entire life in the shadow of a legend. His father—the Hero of Light—is the most celebrated Elementalist in history, a symbol of victory and power revered by millions. But where others see glory, Minisc feels only pressure. He wants no part in his father’s legacy. Instead, he clings to his late mother’s final wish: a future of unity and peace between humans and Elementalists—the newly evolved beings capable of wielding elemental forces like light, fire, and water.

But peace doesn’t come easy. With the Hero of Light out of the picture and tensions rising, Minisc is forced into a role he never asked for.

We're all villains in somebody's story. For Brooklyn, the leader of Luminosa, that could not be more true. His whole life, everyone viewed him as a monster, an Elementalists who doesn't deserve to be in this world. However, Brooklyn has other plans. As the one who has been appointed by the original leader of Luminosa, Dusk, Brooklyn, joined by his two loyal subordinates, Bronx and Bex, the three of them continue their struggle to bring down the Elemental Council and build his new world.
