She’s ten years old. She has one best friend and one impossible companion: a broken robot named Echo. The survival of the colony might depend on them all.

Luma was a very young child during the Breaking—after the adults forgot, after the machines failed, after the skies went silent. Now, she spends her days fixing broken tech and her nights dreaming of restoring what once was.

When she uncovers a damaged robot buried in the old transit hub, Luma’s world begins to shift. The robot—glitchy, half-remembering—speaks of failing systems and old threats never truly gone.

With time running out and something watching from the shadows, Luma, her best friend Nessa, and the robot known as Echo must brave the tunnels beneath the colony to uncover the truth—and decide what’s worth saving.
