The tranquil continent of Andalon descends into chaos when pirates and outlaws form an alliance against tyranny. This sect of administrators captures and farms children who can potentially manipulate the elements, and the eerie specters steal the latent telepathic abilities for their own use. 

The heroes of Pirate’s Cove include Eusari Thorinson, kidnapped and sold at a young age. She must choose vengeance against those responsible or saving the world beside Braen Braston, a quiet outcast from the northern kingdom of Fjorik. Magical powers awaken around them, challenging their knowledge of history and the world.

Across the continent, Robert Esterling fights to come of age and struggles with physical limitations while leading a civil war against his usurper brother, the leader chosen by the Falconers, and the evil Campton Shol. He must decide the fate of thousands of refugees from the west, the hated and feared Pescari, and their goddess of fire.
