The aliens silently floated down from the skies in June of 2026, hovering there at a geostationary orbit above the earth for three months. Without warning on September 3rd, 2026, they attacked. Within three months, 85% of humanity had been wiped out. And we all learned the horrible truth regarding these aliens: "You just...don't...look."

The creatures arrived on June 6th, 2026, by the hundreds of thousands, silently drifting down out of the sky, hovering at a geostationary orbit for three months all over the planet, taking up positions. No one knew what they wanted...why they came...or why they wouldn't just go away. And then, three months later, the unthinkable happened. They suddenly came to life, hunting us down. We called them gorgons—after the mythical creature Medusa—because their eyes had the power to paralyze us with just one look.

Sergeant Cameron 'Jet' Shipley was only six years old when they silently descended through Earth's skies in June of 2026, annihilating 85% of us. 16 years later, Earth is a wasteland, and humanity is painfully familiar with an inescapable truth: one look into the eyes of a gorgon, and it's all over. Terror lurks around every corner, and the rules of survival are simple: stay quiet, move quickly, and don't ever look.

Sergeant Cameron "Jet" Shipley lost everything to the gorgons. But his loss doesn't stop there. In 2026, we were attacked, and 85% of mankind was killed off from an alien invasion. In a post-apocalyptic 2042, we finally beat them, largely because of a resistance borne of one man. But in 2045, gorgons don't give up easily, and now they know who he is. The resistance deposed President Jean Graham, destroyed the gorgon queen, and leveled the funnel, which was stealing our oceans. But the victory was short-lived. A second craft now approaches, trying to re-establish communication with its predecessor.

Set in the post-apocalyptic landscape of Earth in 2037, the survival of mankind truly hinges upon the endurance of a select few. It has been eleven years after an alien invasion wiped out 85% of humanity. Most survivors live in underground bunkers called 'Blockades' under military protection. The rest are scattered abroad, eking out an existence in the shadows, avoiding gorgons at all costs.
