Last quarter of 10th Century CE. When a young soldier and a sergeant from Chōḷa army are ordered by King Rājarāja Chōḷa-I to carry an important message to the Chēra country, little do they realize that they are embarking on a legendary mission that would alter their lives - and that of the Chōḷa country - forever. Nor do they know that their pasts are intertwined with their present mission in a complex web of events… and a century old rivalry is waiting to be settled.
