Barkview Mysteries

Cat Wright loves cats. Dogs? Not so much. Which makes living in Barkview—the dog-friendliest town in America—challenging enough. But when dog show week descends on the quaint seaside town, the competition turns decidedly dog-eat-dog. First, two prize-winning Cavalier King Charles Spaniels disappear. Then the mayor's wife is murdered. And Cat's aunt becomes the prime suspect. Determined to clear her aunt's name, Cat reluctantly dives into Barkview's fiercely competitive canine world, where rivalries run deep, pedigrees matter, and everyone seems to be hiding something.

Two murders before lunch make for a pretty bad day. But when your sister is the prime suspect, you just want to howl at the moon. Thankfully, no one would notice in Barkview—the dog-friendliest town in America, where humans are starting to look like the endangered species. Cat Wright has barely had time to regret the good deed that landed her in trouble when her younger sister, Lani, calls with a crisis. She's just performed mouth-to-mouth on her unconscious professor—and possible boyfriend—Peter Gallardo.

A desperate call from her sister sends investigative reporter Cat Hawl on a rescue mission to Hawaii. But when she arrives, it's more than she bargained for. Not only is a tea sommelier found dead, but a mischievous puppy has turned the crime scene into a dog’s breakfast. And to top it off, Cat’s sister, Lani, has gone missing. Is she a witness or on the run?
