The Shephard Chronicles

Fear rules Valle Oscuro. The powerful profit from silence. The innocent vanish without a trace. And no one dares to speak. Until now. When Eli Shephard arrives in a forgotten mountain village high in Mexico’s Sierra Madre, he isn’t looking for a fight. He carries no banners, makes no promises, and walks only with a quiet sense of right and wrong. But when he crosses paths with a boy too brave for his years and families too broken to ignore, Eli becomes the spark for something the oppressors never anticipated: hope. What begins as small, defiant acts of courage grows into a resistance that refuses to be silenced. Beneath the surface, Eli discovers a deeper rot—corruption disguised as virtue, power cloaked in wealth, and those who will stop at nothing to control the narrative. Shadows Among the Peaks is an inspirational action-adventure thriller of faith, courage, and the quiet strength of ordinary people who dare to resist. In a world where fear holds sway, integrity itself becomes rebellion. For readers who love character-driven Christian thrillers, suspense with heart, and stories of quiet defiance, this is where the journey begins. Book One of The Shephard Chronicles.
