The Proposed Coronation: King Dasaratha decides to crown Rama as the king of Ayodhya.
The Manipulation: The hunchback maid Manthari poisons Queen Kaikeyi's mind. Kaikeyi uses her two ancient boons to demand Bharata's coronation and Rama’s 14-year exile.
The Heartbreak: Dasaratha is shattered and dies of grief. Rama gracefully accepts the exile without a shred of anger.
The Departure: Lakshmana and Sita fiercely insist on accompanying Rama into the forest.
The Forest Meetings: Rama crosses the Ganges, forming an inseparable bond of brotherhood with the boatman Guhan.
Bharata's Righteousness: Bharata returns to Ayodhya, refuses the crown, fiercely denounces his mother Kaikeyi, and rushes to the forest to bring Rama back.
