Author Kresley Cole found her inspiration for The Arcana Chronicles in her long-time fascination with Tarot cards. She envisioned each Tarot character as a teenager with distinct magical abilities. While digging into the history of Taro around the world, she learned that the cards had been used for playing games as well as for divination. That gave her the idea to center her YA fantasy series on a high-stakes game. Kresley is also the author of the best-selling Immortals After Dark Paranormal series, among other works.

Emma Galvin performs The Arcana Chronicles, capturing the tension and danger in Evie and Jack's saga as they reckon with the mythic Tarot characters in their fight to defeat evil and stick together. Listeners may recognize her voice as the narrator of YA hit series such as Divergent by Veronica Roth, Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, and Zom-B by Darren Shan. Start with Poison Princess (which Galvin narrates with Keith Nobbs) and listen to the books in books in order so as not to miss a single second of Evie's high-stakes story.
