A Miami Beach Florida Suspense Series

Former FBI psychological profiler Austin Drake has been dragged from his scotch-induced stupor to work with the young and tenacious Maria Castellanos in a new private investigation business. They’ve just hung out their shingle, when a disturbing case falls in their laps. Three young women have been kidnapped and are being brutally tortured live on webcams from somewhere in Miami Beach. While Austin initially shirks the idea of investigating, believing the police are in the best position to solve the case, it soon becomes apparent there is more going on than meets the eye.

Austin Drake has settled into his new private investigation business with his partner Maria Castellanos. He’s ready to take on more cheating husbands and skip-trace cases - nothing as dramatic as the last few high-profile ones they’ve worked. But when a distraught father finds his daughter hanging from an apparent suicide, he begs the team to help him find the man who had been blackmailing her. They’ve barely begun working the case, when another victim dies in a similar fashion, and soon after, a third. 

Austin Drake struggles with his newfound sobriety as his conscience keeps bothering him over his last major case. When a teenage boy arrives in the office asking for Austin and Maria’s help in tracking down the people who murdered his parents, all fingers point to the very woman who assisted the investigators in the past. But as Austin and Maria investigate, they find themselves at the middle of a war over the Miami drug trade. The team must navigate the Miami underworld and seek out the truth before they’re caught in the crossfire.
