A Demon's Fall

Evie doesn't remember a life before she was on the streets, a life before thieving to live and killing to stay alive. When a royal family she didn't know anything about goes missing, Evie finds herself thrown into the royal court of the protectors, and they demand her help. Help in exchange for a chance at freedom and the name that's haunted her, forgotten. A name she can’t even read, a name she doesn’t understand.

Evie survived a trip to hell, literally, to find herself somewhere even more dangerous: with the angels - angels who do not want to let her leave, not without paying a price for the life they saved. Angels. Demons. Protectors and more secrets than one world should hold. Who can Evie trust when everything is a lie? When it’s time for the assassin to return, and to claim what is hers, who will be on her side?

Defending my claim to the throne will be easy, but defending my heart? That’s where everything could go wrong. Entering the royal court of the protectors was never going to be easy for someone like Evie, but at least she isn’t alone. Trex, Connor, and Nix are determined to show everyone who Evie really is - that she’s not just the heartless assassin they all fear and believe her to be. With whispers of war, the angels going missing, and tests that are far more deadly than anyone could have predicted…who will win the throne?

Evie is now queen of the protectors and rumored queen of the demons as well, but dealing with the black magic she can’t control is far more dangerous than either of those titles. The protectors have fallen, demons along with them, and earth is not far behind. Can Nix, Trex, Connor, and Azi help Evie survive a power no one understands? And that no one knows how to stop? With random portals opening everywhere on earth, a war to be won, and Cex tracking her every move, can the assassin-now-queen win the war?

The cursed rune is real and it’s going to destroy everything. Being killed dozens of times wasn’t exactly the plan when Daesyn signed up for the academy, nor was being kidnapped by the insane Seelie Fae King. Four runes exist in the worlds, and the Seelie Fae King wants them all. Only issue?...
