Students of the true and Canonical Sherlock Holmes know this to be a falsehood.

When God stepped in and transformed David Isaiah Hammond's life, it was nothing less than a miracle that took place right before his own eyes. It was a divine intervention that happened right inside of his heart. Like many other young men, David had been living a very troubled lifestyle, heading toward death and self-destruction. Until one day, he heard the audible voice of God speak to him and everything in his life changed. Even though David was living such a reckless life, Jesus was still willing to walk through the mud to pull David out.
