“Take Two” literally means, “Take Two” on all your favorite television shows. Alexis and Ellie will take you back to their favorite television shows, go through all the twists and turns and then apply the scripts to their own life experiences. This is one of those shows that the whole family will enjoy; we even encourage you to try this at home as you relive all of your favorite shows and apply it to your own lives. Humanizing Disability in Mathematics Education: Forging New Paths is about enhancing the practices of mathematics teachers by extending the concepts of access, equity, and empowerment to include students living with all types of disabilities. Humanizing Disability examines the current mindset and pedagogy that students with different learning needs encounter, and then offers strategies and practices to humanize the mathematics experience for these students.

My mission in life is to be a living example to people that you can go through some horrific trauma in life, and still thrive and be happy (in my opinion the deeper you feel your pain, suffering and trauma- the deeper you’re able to feel love, joy and excitement) They’re needed for one another to be felt. This can help us find more acceptance, peace, willingness and respect for the tumultuous times in life. By living my life by this philosophy, as well as mindfully and intentionally, my hope is to act as a lighthouse for those lost in the dark. Not just by telling you, but by showing you.
