A dark comedy of ghosts, grudges, and one very confused hotel manager. Charlie Bennett’s boring life managing a chain hotel takes a hard left when his weird Uncle Harold dies and leaves him a crumbling, creepy Victorian inn in the middle of nowhere. The good news? He owns a hotel now. The bad news? It’s haunted as hell. Furniture moves on its own. Portraits blink. The piano plays itself every Tuesday at midnight (thanks, Heinrich). And don’t even get him started on the ghost kid who keeps rearranging his sock drawer.

Clayton experiences one of the darkest parts of his life—his mother’s death. When a family friend adopts him (Eugene Oman), however, all is not what it seems. Clayton’s curiosity leads him to discover a hidden, twisted secret… This would not stop Clayton later in his life from becoming a detective, following in the footsteps of Eugene, a man who was the closest thing to a father he had ever known, despite the secret. Whilst achieving success in his career, Clayton falls in love with a woman called Marissa. However, happiness can only last so long.
