Unfortunately, after a short illness and complications, Leon passed away just before Christmas in 2017. After his passing, June decided that she couldn't return to Gogglebox alone. She appeared on the show as a partnership: Leon and June. She couldn't face appearing as just June. Instead, she took the opportunity to tell the story of Leon and June.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Tom Bale (the pseudonym of David Harrison), author of titles such as One Dark Night and Skin and Bones. Lupton studied literature at Cambridge University, graduating in 1986. After graduating, she wrote for Literary Reviews and was invited to join the Royal Court Theatre. During this time, Lupton won a television play competition and earned herself a job as a screenwriter. While her husband, a doctor, was working all hours, Lupton decided that as an author she could write around her kids being at school. So, after much work, her first novel, Sister, was published. We chatted to Rosamund Lupton about her career as a writer and author and how she creates such thrilling reads.
