Dr. Hawkins begins this lecture by saying that our spirit will be where it must be as a consequence of that which it is. Everything is exactly precisely where it has brought itself through its own decision. He states: "There is nobody paddling the canoe except yourself!" However, with the progression of consciousness, the "I" is less and less limited and ultimately becomes the source of Knowingness itself.

In this exciting lecture, Dr. Hawkins disassembles the ego, explains how it blocks the Truth and in great detail shows us how we can transcend it. “You can only experience that which you resist” is one of the many important lessons he shares with us.
