The greatest commission Jesus gave us is found in the Lord's Prayer: "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." It is the mandate expressing his heart - that his world would infiltrate, influence, and shape our world. We must discover how heaven functions so we can cultivate heaven's values and realities on earth. As we embrace our assignment from the Lord to represent him, we shape our culture by carrying his glorious presence into the world.

One of the hardest lessons I've learned is that the only thing I need is hockey—because hockey has never let me down, never abandoned me. What I lack in my personal life, I make up for with my professional achievements. I’m damn proud of the career I’ve had in the NHL and have no plans of stopping or jeopardizing it by coming out. That is until I meet Sterling. He does the unthinkable, he gives me hope, makes me wish for more… and then dashes those hopes and wishes to dust.

The Holy Spirit is Bill Johnson’s foundational book on the Spirit, including both introductory and deep truths about the third person of the Trinity. He describes what he has learned about seeking God, hosting His presence, and seeing His Spirit change the atmosphere of families and communities—bringing peace where there was anxiety and discord, salvation where hope was gone, and restoration where purpose was lost.
