I woke up with a mild hangover and an alarm notification that said, “Check attachment in email Cleo sent to herself from my phone, Dummy.” Your video proof of me offering you a temporary assistant job over the holidays seems legit. The payment amount I agreed to was outrageous. However, I have a deadline to meet. Having already fired seven temps this week, I am inclined to give this a shot, assuming you are willing to start today.

Halloween: it’s a holiday where people shed their boring everyday personalities and become fantastic beings ready for an epic party. Well, guess what? That’s Billy Boston 24/7, 365, baby! It’s who I was before I became a millionaire and it’s who I’ll always be. My beautiful next door neighbor, Donna, is a hardworking nurse who takes her job seriously and her fun even more so. All she wants is a no-strings arrangement and that’s fine by me.

My stress level is off the charts. I can’t sleep right on a normal day, and lately my days are filled with the best kind of chaos. My ex-wife and husband number two are filming in Poland for three months, so I’m turning down movie parts to focus on the most important role of my life—impossibly charming and somewhat capable young single dad. My son won’t stop asking questions. My daughter won’t brush her teeth unless I sing her showtunes. Our regular nanny quit. The only person I could trust to hire as a temp nanny is my best friend’s sister.

Finally, find time to get some with your grumpy husband on Father’s Day. Fix up a secret millionaire neighbor while placating a ghost on Halloween. Get snowed-in with a broody movie star on New Year’s Eve. Every day is a hot and hilarious holiday with this family.
