In an attempt to cleanse whatever entity Trina and I let into my house after our bout with a Ouija board, things have only gotten worse. When the entity begins to sap Drake's strength, I realize I have to do something and that something needs to be done now . . . While Drake does definitely drive me crazy with his pretentious airs, his womanizing ways and his jealousy, the idea of coming home to an empty house leaves me feeling . . . well, empty. Yes, it's true—I'm pretty fond of my ghostly Casanova.

I’m so excited to be headed to the Academy of Enchantment, where I’ll be a transfer student for the following year. Except, I'll never make it. When a shadow demon boards my train, I’m overcome by his power, and I blackout. And when I wake up? I’m in a place called Dread. And yes, Dread is as wonderful as the name implies.

My third mission into the depths of the Underground City finds me battling its demonic residents in the Toy Store, level four of the hellish afterlife. Although my guardian angel, Bill, is by my side every step of the way, Bill isn’t much of a consolation when it comes to fighting things that go bump in the night. Instead, I’d much prefer to rely on the brawn and brains of the two thousand year old Celtic warrior, Tallis Black.

I'm attending the highly prestigious Elmington Academy—a school of magic. But unlike my witch mother and warlock father, I'm anything but magical, and my time at Elmington is a struggle. Until I meet Stone Draper. Stone is probably the sexiest guy I've ever seen, even though he might also be the cockiest. And if there's one thing I hate in a man, it's overblown confidence. So why can't I stop thinking about him? And why does he keep singling me out? And the way he looks at me...

Fairy and law enforcement agent Dulcie O'Neil is in trouble. And so is her friend and master vampire, Bram. Finding themselves on the wrong side where illegal potions importer Jax Rochefort is concerned, now their only focus is finding a way to stay alive. Any way she looks at it, Dulcie is in a bad way. It might just take the perseverance and determination of a certain hunky Loki named Knight to rectify the situation. But even Knight doesn't know what he's up against...

Polaris was written in 1918 and first published in 1920. It contains the first reference to one of Lovecraft's fictional arcane tomes—the Pnakotic Manuscripts.

Looking for a fresh start, I just became the proud owner of a piece of New Orleans history: an Antebellum-era two-story house in the Garden District. It's going to take time and a fat wallet to restore the fixer-upper to its former glory, but after my recent divorce, I could use the distraction. And a stiff drink, but that's another story . . . It's not long before I discover I've moved into the haunted house of the flirtatious and very much dead, Drake Montague. Now I'm receiving kisses from unseen lips and caresses from ghostly hands.

It's a well known fact that H.P. Lovecraft was a horribly racist man, and that some of his earliest stories reflect that particular worldview. This can make it awkward for those who would like to listen to his work and see what all the fuss is about but don't want to have to wade through the putrid swamp of his views on people of color and immigrants. In response to this issue, I have put together this collection of the H.P. Lovecraft short stories written between 1917 and 1923, but with the omission of the really racist ones.

Who knows what unspeakable horrors lie in the deep places of the world, beneath fathoms of cold, dark water and eons of cold, dark time? One man knows, though he wishes he did not.

Jervas Dudley is a young man of means who is prone to flights of fancy. This predilection leads to an obsession with an abandoned crypt that will last for the rest of his life....

Dezember 1920 verfasste.

Isaac H.P sits down and chats absolute waffle

My name is Elodie Matthews, and a few months ago, I became the new police chief in the stamp-sized town of Hope, Alaska. Running from a past I don’t want to face; my career path is now colliding with native lore, legends of shape-shifters...and wolves. One wolf in particular. I’ve seen him before—in dreams that have been plaguing me since I moved to Hope. The dreams are always the same: a gigantic black wolf with haunting steel-gray eyes. He wants something from me. I’m just not sure what.
