There's a new embittered-fellow movement called "Men Going Their Own Way" that has Susie scratching her head. What's up with these guys? Why are they spending so much time talking about lesbians? Susie reads postings from an online forum, and these mostly straight-and-narrow guys have the weirdest take on bisexuals and homosexuals. Looks like some of the "going-their-own-wayers" are heading in a strange, asexual direction.

Susie starts off today's show with a look at the evolution of an STD. As it turns out, sexually transmitted diseases are nothing new; they've been around since...forever. A new study from the University of Wisconsin shows that genomic strains of Herpes can be traced back 15,000 years. Susie loves this scientific stuff, and she lays out how these researchers followed Herpes around the world to explain its longevity and migration.

A recent issue of On Our Backs magazine features an interview with a lesbian who was also a Playboy centerfold. This reminds Susie about how little sex actually goes on at Playboy. Then, while Susie and Planned Parenthood have long been on the side of feminism, they've not always seen eye-to-eye. All was forgiven when Susie hosted a dinner for Planned Parenthood recently. In her mailbag, Susie answers a letter from a man who wants to know where all the non-monogamous women are.

Susie reviews the sexiest movie released to theaters in quite some time - Y Tu Mama Tambien. She interviews controversial feminist Phyllis Chesler, author of the best selling Women and Madness. Chesler's newest book, Woman's Inhumanity to Woman explores the dark side of sisterhood: how women treat each other badly. One of Susie's favorite writers, Ellen Willis, died earlier this month. She explains what the new drug can and can't do. It's not for people looking for a Viagra-type boost when having casual sex. It's also not for those already infected with the AIDS virus. Where does it work? Those uninfected but at high risk will be good candidates, and also, surprisingly, this new treatment may be helpful for married couples if one partner is infected.

Have you ever had a G-spot orgasm? Or maybe you've helped your partner find her G-spot? This erogenous female zone has perplexed many, and now some British researchers are claiming the spot is nonexistent. Susie says, "Give me a break!" The story was posted recently on The Daily Beast blog, and many sexperts are refuting this new study. Susie talks about why the G-spot is so controversial in the first place - and why money is being spent to make it go away.

Susie's as much a First Amendment supporter as the next sexpert, but a recent court case made her laugh. A former police officer was dismissed after his superiors learned of porn tapes which featured the officer in full uniform. The man says his free speech rights were violated but Susie's just not so sure he'll win. Randy police officers remind Susie of other uniformed sex. Monica Lewinsky is back in the news. She's written a story for Vanity Fair in which she talks about her affair with President Clinton. Susie was glad to read that Lewinsky is candid about the affair being consensual. What is troubling to remember, though, is that back when this happened, Lewinsky was portrayed as a slut. Susie says there is so much more to this whole story, and she reads from an article she wrote for Ms. magazine that looks into Monica's background.

It's almost Valentine's Day, and Susie's sending out a big smooch to you. Her motto on this romantic holiday is "Love the One You're With". And for those of you who are single - flirt. If you're in the middle of a breakup, purge. Valentine's Day is for everyone, no matter where your love life currently abides.
