Yoga, in its deepest sense, is not merely a discipline for the body but a science of inner transformation. The same energy that creates suffering can also become the source of freedom, love, meditation, and enlightenment. Nothing within us needs to be rejected—only understood and transformed. In the series of talks titled Yoga – The Science of the Soul, Osho explores Patanjali's original Yoga Sutras, revealing their timeless relevance for modern seekers.

Wisdom, says Buddha, arises from within, and is the only true knowledge. In The Dhammapada Osho speaks on wisdom, which he calls knowing, and on the difference between knowing and knowledge. Knowing, he says, is spontaneous response: it comes from inner silence, it is our own truth, an existential experience. Knowledge is dependent on the past, it is mechanical, it is second-hand, it comes from another, and hides the truth from ourselves. Knowing gives us inner direction; knowledge only outer direction. Osho always expresses unusual insights to education and the upbringing of children. In this talk, responding a question, he explores the relationship between children and parents. He says, meditation and consciousness give opportunities to change the direction of these relationships and therefore the whole of humanity.
