My life pretty much took a hard left a year ago when I first met Lemon. She’s wise beyond her years and as abrasive and sarcastic as they come. I may have bitten off more than I can chew…

I left Florida and Grim Road, my father’s club, with Hammer, believing he loved me. But Hammer turned out to be a monster, brutalizing me at every turn. He’s using my sisters as leverage to control me. I’ve got to find a way out, even if that means sacrificing myself to save them. Though I’m 18, and still in high school, there’s no one I can tell. Except my friend Lemon, whose dad is in the Iron Tzars MC. When the club comes to rescue me, it’s almost too late.

The enigmatic biker is the one bright spot in my life. I see him three or four times a week at the cafe down the block. Talking to him about books we’re reading or our hopes and dreams helps me escape my reality, if only for a short time. Most of the time we don’t even sit at the same table. He’s everything I ever wanted but know I can never have. We simply cross paths. Him going… wherever he goes. Me… I know I’m going straight to hell. Nothing but a miracle can save me. The Devil owns my soul.

Wylde’s an incorrigible flirt. I know he acts like he’s a player, but I’ve seen another side of him. Kids from all over the area flock to him because he’s Wylde -- the guru of all things electronic. He has endless patience with the teens looking to learn his skill in video games, but he has none with adults. I love his twisted, sarcastic sense of humor, and that streak of protectiveness he shows on occasion. He’s wicked smart and I love watching him use his intelligence and his wit. Plus he’s hotter than sin. So I flirt back.

My life has gone down the toilet. I accidentally got myself involved with a married man and had an… accident. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t love the cheating bastard, but I hate that I got played. Naturally I did what any self-respecting eighteen year old would do. I went to a karaoke bar and got wasted. Not my finest moment. So, when I land in the arms of a man I’ve fantasized over for the past two years, I’m not even surprised. My luck is just that bad.
