Captain Bligh leaves London for Tahiti in charge of his crew on the Bounty. At sea he shows himself to be a brutal tyrant and cruel whilst enforcing discipline which includes flogging the men, cutting rations and over zealously working them too hard. On the return voyage, first mate Fletcher Christian, wonderfully played here by Orson Welles, leads the crew to mutiny and sets Bligh and his supporters adrift on a boat. What they did not count on is the Captain's return in this gripping tense drama.

After her journalist husband and infant son are brutally executed in a fire in their Florida home, photographer Harper McDaniel has nothing left to live for - except settling the score. When the local police fail to take the arson seriously, Harper takes the reins and discovers her husband was investigating some mysterious deaths at a cacao plantation on the Ivory Coast. Now she's convinced he was targeted in a corporate conspiracy to silence him.

Despite Harper McDaniel’s best efforts, the man responsible for the murder of her husband and son was exonerated thanks to some slick legal wrangling. This blatant injustice has only made Harper more determined than ever to bring down the culprit. Her ammunition? Incriminating information about his olive oil operations in Italy. But the clues that she follows are leading her into the depths of a corrupt plot that is more poisonous and far-reaching than she realizes. And more dangerous, too, because her enemy is prepared for her pursuit.

Millennial Hospitality is not like any other audiobook you may have heard about aliens. Returning from the horrors of World War I, James Hall and Charles Nordhoff follow a dream to tour the South Pacific. They later co-authored "Mutiny on the Bounty". This is a love story. A travelogue and an adventure rolled into one.

You will find this book, although an exciting narrative, has an unpolished feel, because it was published in June of 1918, while Mr. Hall was a captive in a German POW camp. When he was captured behind enemy lines, the book was still a work in progress.

Pitcairn's Island is the third and final novel in The Bounty Trilogy, a series of novels that describe the voyage, mutiny, and subsequent adventures of the officers and crew of HMS Bounty during its voyage from Spithead on the English Channel to Tahiti in the South Pacific. On April 28, 1789, disaffected crewmen led by Lieutenant Fletcher Christian seized control of the Bounty somewhere about 30 miles south of the tropical island of Tofua. After putting the ship's captain and loyal members of his crew adrift, Fletcher Christian led the crew to an uncharted island.

“Men Against the Sea” is the second novel in “The Bounty Trilogy”, a series of novels that describe the voyage, mutiny, and subsequent adventures of the officers and crew of HMS Bounty during its voyage from Spithead on the English Channel to Tahiti in the South Pacific.

James Hall was a soldier, lawyer, circuit judge, newspaper editor, historian, and author of fiction. He was also the first publisher of a literary magazine west of Pittsburgh. Hall originally wrote some of the letters in this collection in 1820, while voyaging by keelboat down the Ohio River from Pittsburgh to Shawneetown, Illinois, where he established a law practice. He appears to have revised the 1820 letters and added more prior to publication in London in 1828. Much more than a description of his travels, the letters include his observations on many subjects, reflecting current affairs ...
