The sunflower keeps on blooming, even when the storm becomes rough. While the butterfly is still molding into a stronger version of itself. The common factor with the sunflower and the butterfly is when life gets rough. The sunflower and the butterfly keep moving forward, while evolving. All of us will go through rough patches in our lives, we will get lost, and may wander. That doesn't mean we are lost, we just need adjust a few things in our lives to find the path we were on before. You will hurt, cry a little and feel anger. Life will become hard, some moments will be joyful while other moments will hurt. Life As An Anchor learning how to build a foundation, learning how to swim or float. Life won't always be easy, there will be many things we will learn and regret. Life will always show us our weaknesses and strengths. Walking into a fire era of standing up for myself, no more second chances either. The ruthless of truth about to be told, no more bottling everything up. I quietly carried everything and now I am releasing the weight off my shoulders . I will no longer allow anyone to walk all over me or think they can control me. I set my boundaries and I am not changing them. This life is walking into the salty era of standing up for myself. The era of fire of no regrets. Finally letting the past go, took forever to get here, but I finally cut all the ties that were attached to me.

Learning to heal from past experiences that will never go away, you just learn to be okay with it. Memories you would like to forget, and memories you would like to keep that always gets overshadowed. Healing from survival mode and many trauma experiences can take years. You may never fully heal, but you learn to be more gentle with yourself in the process.

In every storm there is something beautiful, in latitudes and attitudes it wasn’t just lessons learned. Forgiving the ones I hurt or hurt me. It was going through the storm and not giving up. Some days may be harder than any other day, but I still got through it. Every storm will end and you will be in a better place than before.
