Elizabeth Haynes kick started her writing career with the renowned writers challenge NaNoWriMo - an attempt to finish a novel of 50,000 words in one month. This was enough of a motivation to get her started and subsequent years saw repeated efforts, eventually resulting in what would become her first published novel Into the Darkest Corner.
