Den Tipp hatte er von Bekannten, und er war etwas skeptisch. Er klingelte an der Pforte und es öffnete - Madeleine. Ihm verschlug es die Sprache, und das sollte für die nächsten Tage nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

"Sie gehen für ein Jahr nach Afrika, darüber brauche und möchte ich keine weitere Diskussion." Das waren die letzten Worte, die der Bischof für Carlo übrig hatte. Dieser hatte es einfach zu weit getrieben und musste aus der Schusslinie gebracht werden. Da war Afrika das richtige Ziel.

Weder Männer- noch Frauenklöster nehmen es mit der Keuschheit so genau, und selbst Missionare in Afrika erleben das ein oder andere, was man sich als Laie so gar nicht vorstellen kann.
