Moins connu que Balzac romancier, voici Balzac maître de la nouvelle. Ces deux récits parlent d'amour, du mal d'amour et de vengeance. Ils sont des épisodes de la vie de certains personnages de "La Comédie humaine" que l'on croise ici brièvement.
