The Discoveries Of Sherlock Holmes is a series of Sherlock Holmes stories exclusively released on Kindle Unlimited to give fans the opportunity to sample Sherlockian writers from all over the world. One story per writer will appear each month. Number VIII is William P. DeFeo. The Case of the Acclaimed Philosopher is a Sherlock Holmes tribute tale that is traced carefully along the classic lines of A. C. Doyle’s original master stories.

An aristocrat has been brutally murdered and the only suspect is a young footman who happens to be brother to Clara, a maid employed at 221B Baker Street. Clara begs Sherlock Holmes to prove her brother innocent. Holmes agrees, and, in unmasking the real culprit, he and Watson uncover a murky and depraved world lurking behind the bland and elegant façade of a London mansion.

Sherlock Holmes is furious on learning that Michael Draycott, a murderer who he has worked hard to bring to trial, has been acquitted. He knows that this is due to the efforts of a lawyer notorious for securing the release of criminals who should rightfully hang, and by means of paid 'witnesses' for the defence. Watson hopes a new case will form a welcome distraction, until it appears that both cases are linked. Holmes and Watson are now in a race against time to solve both.

The Lord of Demons is coming. Neven never believed in the fabled world of Tallindra—until he found himself trapped within it. Surviving the brutal Tournament of the Kindred has unlocked his bloodline’s magic, but power comes at a cost: he must kill the Good Man, Lord of all demons. Worse, his friends, Talpus and Delgado, are lost in this treacherous world, and time is running out. Guided by the enigmatic Acultured, Neven journeys through haunted ruins, enchanted technology, and a land where the dead refuse to rest.
