Conversations on the Road to Emmaus depicts an incredible journey. Jesus walked and talked with two disciples on the Road to Emmaus after He was resurrected from the dead. It is quite intriguing to propose what Jesus said about Himself on that incredible day while on that incredible journey. It is not only intriguing, but it is also something—via interpretation of the Old Testament—that is not simply a guess with respect to what was actually discussed. Jesus is referencing the Old Testament. The Word is explaining the Word.

The great problem in the church's interpretation of Scripture has been its ecclesiastical orientation, as though God speaks only to the church, and commands only the church. The Lord God speaks in and through His Word to the whole man, to every man, and to every area of life and thought. To assume that the Triune Creator of all things is in His word and person only relevant to the church is to deny His Lordship or sovereignty. If we turn loose the whole Word of God onto the church and the world, we shall see with joy its power and glory. This is the purpose of my brief comments.

"Paul's epistle to the Romans is the fullest exposition of the gospel plan of salvation found anywhere in the word of God...Romans, therefore, must be valued as a precious treasure by every disciple of Jesus Christ..." As Mott meticulously follows the train of thought of the Apostle Paul in describing how a righteous judge finds a way to declare sinful people "not guilty", how Paul sets forth the path of life that is fitting for those who have died to sin, and declares that disciples are "more than conquerors".

What does it mean to "leave quietly"? It means making the worst mistake of your life. By leaving quietly, you inflict unspeakable harm on your children and grandchildren. The battle is raging. Two realms are seeking to influence the natural world--light and darkness. There is no middle ground. Depending on how you participate in life, either Heaven or Hell will advance its agenda into the Earth. The Holy Spirit is trying to show us what is at stake. He is trying to create something that will stop an evil every bit as hideous as Hitler.

Son! Done! Come! These three single words present the key to the great mystery of the book of Revelation. This is the story of Jesus. He was born as a son. He died, and it was done. He lives again and has come to create a living community in himself and the Father through the Spirit. Experiencing Revelation presents a new perspective on this book of the Bible. Rather than analyze countless details separately, the apostle John’s Revelation is best understood as it was designed–a three-act dramatic play revealing Jesus Christ, to be experienced straight through as a whole.

There is a resounding call in Hebrews that we cannot forget without going astray: "Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach" (13:13). This is a summons to serve Christ the Redeemer-King fully and faithfully, without compromise. In our time, it calls for a break, not only with the prevailing culture of humanistic statism and its messianic claims and pretensions, but also a wayward church that has made itself the handmaiden to Christ's enemies.

In this volume, Mark described Jesus' ministry around the Sea of Galilee, starting at Capernaum, traveling across the sea to Gergesa, and back to Capernaum. Jesus and his disciples were caught in a violent storm as they sailed across the sea. Once they reached the shore, they met a man who had been driven from society and lived among the tombs. The evil spirits cast out of the poor tomb-dwelling man spooked a huge herd of pigs that ran into the sea and drowned. The pig owners and other neighbors were angry, and they urged Jesus to leave their area.

Rushdoony's commentary series on the Pentateuch, it stands as one of the more dynamic expositions in the series in that it addresses God's demands upon man, family, church, and state. In short, Deuteronomy is the defining volume on theocracy. The redemptive power of Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit are the enabling forces for a people to once again live faithful to God's covenant—and Deuteronomy provides the details for that covenant. Mas os que são havidos por dignos de alcançar a era vindoura e a ressurreição dentre os mortos não casam, nem se dão em casamento. Pois não podem mais morrer, porque são iguais aos anjos e são filhos de Deus, sendo filhos da ressurreição. (Lucas 20:35-36)
