Esso riguarda infatti non solamente la scuola in generale ma, nel complesso, la persona e la società. Riguarda non solo la didattica ma tutte quelle situazioni nelle quali si verificano fenomeni che influiscono sull'apprendimento. Tali situazioni necessitano di interventi specifici, che vanno affidati a persone competenti e preparate, soprattutto quando si tratta di ambito scolastico.

Educational equity is more than an image. It is more than being able to watch a baseball game while standing on boxes. To frame it as such oversimplifies the complexities associated with this term.
