Education is broken, but it doesn’t have to be. In Skoolz R Dumb, Alida Davis Abdullah a no-nonsense and season educator and parent, cuts through the jargon and exposes the deep flaws and truths about today’s educational system. From endless testing to rigid curriculums, she’s seen firsthand how these outdated systems crush creativity and drown out the dreams of students, educators, and parents. However, this book isn’t just about pointing fingers with critiques.

In Teach like an Ally, veteran classroom teacher and celebrated transgender advocate Flint Del Sol weaves humor, storytelling, and expertise into a guide for educator-allies. Del Sol offers actionable strategies that you can implement in classrooms. He also tackles the complex questions teachers face: What should you do when a student asks for one name in the classroom, but another at home?
