Tough times. Life threw challenges and failures in ways that I never imagined. I felt unsure, unclear, and even wondered if there is anything called a future. I took a deep breath, decided to accept everything that happened, and then tried to move on. Whenever I accepted a failure, I felt my soul getting energy to rejuvenate. Then, I decided to make the process of rejuvenation even more rewarding. I started setting some smaller goals. I set a newer goal - let me create my first book. With no filters, but only with the right to express in the right form!

Peter Coyote’s first collection of poetry takes us on a whirlwind tour of an eclectic and exciting life as an actor and Zen Buddhist priest, meandering from love affairs to marriage to divorce to the '60s to psychedelic spirituality and beyond. This book is a reflection of a soul journey between life and eternity through pathways of pain, confusion, loss, struggling for freedom, justice, and beautiful memories. A soul’s journey is calling desperately for peace, love, and mercy in a world full of hunger, poverty, injustice, and destruction. In a world where humanity is crying for help to survive, a soul journey paints the heart with colorful feelings of life, which lead us at the end to our roots to Mother Nature, where nature is telling us the most wonderful and amazing stories of mankind.

Just when one thinks life's fleeting moments - from the mundane to the surreal - often have no words, Bailey shows what can be gleaned from the indifference, pain, and pleasure, which can yield lessons that transcend the incident which provoked the intimate reflection. At the same time, his poetry embodies the notion that we are more than the sum of our experiences - that there is a measure of gravity to our lives that is timeless and never duplicative, as is a treasured commodity.

This is the ninth book in the Limericks for Meditation series. The poems are numbered 801 through 900.
