Nature’s Whisper is a spoken-word immersion into the living intelligence of the natural world. Poet and spiritual practitioner Naz Kling brings her words to life through her own voice, carried by evocative music that creates a landscape of sound and presence. Each poem arises from deep communion with Earth and the unseen realms. The experience becomes an offering of guidance and reflection while honoring our place in the greater web of life. Through elemental imagery and embodied insight, the listener is invited into direct connection with the sacred that lives both around and within us.

Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was born on the 16th October 1854 in Dublin Ireland. His only novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray was published in 1890 and he then moved on to writing for the stage with Salome in 1891. His society comedies produced enormous hits and turned him into one of the most successful writers of late Victorian London. He died destitute in Paris at the age of forty-six sipping champagne a friend had brought with the line ‘Alas I am dying beyond my means’.

The bookshelves of British literature are incredible collections that have gathered together centuries of very talented authors. From these Isles their fame spread and whilst among their number many are now forgotten or neglected, their talents endure. Among them is one of the first published female poets, Anne Bradstreet. Born in England, she moved to America in her early years, and from there her poetic legacy spread to other continents.

Joseph Fasano’s The Last Song of the World delves into the chaos of the modern world, and searches for resilience in the face of environmental and societal devastation. Dripping with images of ancient ruins and mythological figures, these poems serve as vignettes of fatherhood, love, and desire against the backdrop of apocalyptic events.

An eclectic mix of poems in various forms, inspired by a love of Nature and reactions to many significant events or themes of recent times . They cover a fairly wide range of topics, thoughtfully, with an occasional touch of humour or satire. Thought provoking, many indicate a definite point of view, some personal, others, possibly, widely shared, relating to the effects of Brexit, the pandemic, climate change, war, modern politics and the internet.

Firefall, by Heather Lang-Cassera, whispers to us the urgency of climate change. In hushed tones, lyrical free verse and cyclical pantoums evoke the diminishing and intensifying seasons. We might look for comfort in the occasional rhyming couplets, in the evocative syntax, in the breathtaking imagery that portrays the beauty of this world, yet these ecopoems require us to parse out seeming dualities: fire and flood, repetition and redundancy, vulnerable witness and autonomous self.

These poems are a reflection of some of the thoughts that crossed my mind in my mid 30s. They changed as I was changing and growing. Some of the poems are an appreciation of beauty, some are an internal dialogue, some are an advice to myself, some have an inherent rhythm and tune to them, you can sing them as songs and dance to their tune, some are stray thoughts and profound truths, capturing eternal wisdom. I enjoyed them and that's the reason I wanted to share with kindred spirits. If your heart resonates with any poem, it is a divine accident.

Building Bridges is an anthology showcasing my journey into micro poetry, featuring my previously published haiku, tanka, and tanka prose. Within, I explore small moments from my own backyard and childhood, drawing inspiration from the majestic snow-covered mountains and volcanoes in the North Cascades, as well as the towering giant trees that surround me. The ever-present view of the Puget Sound, which I witness daily while teaching young students, and the rhythmic ocean waves of the Pacific blue, further contribute to the tapestry of my poetic musings.
