Blueprint for New Beginnings puts life on the couch. Through the eyes and ears of this author, the listener will discover an individuation journey, and the extraordinarily rich intersection between collective mythology, nature, and ordinary everyday life.

This book is a reflection of a soul journey between life and eternity through pathways of pain, confusion, loss, struggling for freedom, justice, and beautiful memories. A soul’s journey is calling desperately for peace, love, and mercy in a world full of hunger, poverty, injustice, and destruction. In a world where humanity is crying for help to survive, a soul journey paints the heart with colorful feelings of life, which lead us at the end to our roots to Mother Nature, where nature is telling us the most wonderful and amazing stories of mankind.

I started writing down ideas and poems many years ago. I would just think of some, or look for inspiration (such as rainbows and sunsets, and morning fresh snow). The poems I have created are that of my own design, with a bit of a twist to some of them. But also, there are real memories and feelings in these poems, and they are what made me into the better person I am today. These poems are true and from the heart - we hope you will enjoy this listen!

Walking Home to Humboldt is a poetic journey through the space-time of unspoken thoughts, dreams, and memories, revealed in love letters about home as read by the author. The bewitching beauty of Humboldt County, in Northern California, has inspired countless artists; its deep forests of redwoods, creeping mists, and the slate-gray waters of the Pacific Ocean set the perfect landscape for unexpressed soul. This is a book of poetry about homecoming and good-byes. It is of heartbreak and triumph, celebration, and bittersweet resignation.

This audiobook is masterfully narrated by John Mendell, bringing to life the authentic Texan voices that inspired the work, and is thought of as a work of art in itself beyond the underlying poetry.

In this collection of "unwashed", or early works, Mia Vance presents a selection of her poetry written in the years prior to her foray back into formal education - this time with poetry at the forefront of her focus. The work covers a wide range of subjects and moods, each piece rendered with Vance's particular eye for imagery, ear for music, and rhythmic pulse.

Mountain Laurels is a second edition of the original collection of poems self-published in 1977. It was the first published collection of poems written by Genevieve C. Sparks (1920-2003) over many years in what she called "the simple form of mountain colloquial". While some individual poems draw their meaning from a personal experience of the poet, "the basic thought of the book in its entirety is," she says, "the great inspiration derived from the love of nature." Living in West Virginia, many of her poems speak the wonders of the Appalachian mountain world.

Today, we exist in the middle of a world torn by the ravishes of war, progress, and greed and the resulting wood, steel, and mortar that make up much of our habited areas often hide or camouflage the beauty of nature. Momentarily outside a window, a blue jay appears or a city is blanketed with the super whiteness of a snowstorm or even a child sees the annoying presence of a roach or mouse across a kitchen counter, and we pause to remember that natures' voices are all around us, and surprisingly, we are in the middle of it all.

Writing with diverse poetic forms and using original artwork to deepen the exploration of conflict, Jo Patti presents us with a dynamic and edgy second book of poetry. Not for the faint hearted. This volume of poetry includes poems which express experiences where conflict has occurred. Conflict may arise from misunderstanding, historical grievances, struggles over control, power and money. Conflict may be borne out of righteous resistance.

In this new collection of poems, essays, and flash fiction, the author once again exhibits her ability to write about both the light and dark sides of life. There are numerous poems and stories about nature: its kindness, cruelty, and wonder. There are frank expressions of the sadness and frustration she felt at the progressive loss of her eyesight and a poem about the social isolation that disability can bring. Other pieces, though, sing of joys as diverse as family closeness, the love of dogs, the delights of scents, and the power of the muse.
