When Jesus thought about the church, what did he imagine? Most churches are small, and rightly so. With power being redistributed in our time, networks of smaller enterprises are both growing and thriving. The yearning for participation and empowerment has us all looking for versions of church that make room for everyone. Perhaps, after all our hand wringing and insecurity about the size of our churches, we have missed the point. Microchurches can be strong, beautiful, accessible, and potent portraits of just what Jesus had in mind, if not for all time, at least for ours.

How to Bring Men to Christ sheds light on how to reach the lost with the gospel - not new light, but tested and true light. Reuben A. Torrey will show you how to use appropriate, applicable Bible passages to reach every kind of lost individual. Regardless of the angle the lost may use to try to justify why they remain in their sad condition, Torrey offers scripture passages and biblical principles that have proven to reach even the most stubborn of the unsaved. This is an excellent resource and training manual to equip individuals and groups to share the gospel with the lost.

Christians have been called to care for the community they serve as “salt and light”. The concept of mission work in the Church seems to be more focused on “the ends of the earth” than our “Jerusalem”. Our “Jerusalem” represents our immediate community or society. This book calls on Christians to look for ministry opportunities outside the walls of the church building, especially in the workplaces, that is, bring Jesus into their work lives.

Compelling stories by missionaries who serve in some of the hardest to reach parts of Asia Pacific. This devotional will inspire you to join countless others who devote themselves to praying, giving, and going to the ends of the earth.

In 1986, Ken and Julie Vaughan were living the American dream: good education, interesting career, nice home, and healthy, bright children. When God called them to teach in Africa, they turned their backs on financial and physical security to accept the challenge of living in a third world country. Through a series of God-initiated events, the Vaughans found themselves living in Cote d’Ivoire, teaching at an international boarding school. In 1997, Ken faced a bout with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. After completing treatment, Ken and Julie returned to Africa to resume the life they loved.

Matthew Ellison and Denny Spitters call us to refocus our gaze on the gospel and the Great Commission. They assert that thinking must come before doing and must shape our world mission practices and priorities. When Everything Is Missions is for church and ministry leaders and all who look to clarify their own answers to questions like these: What is the mission of God? What is the mission of the Church? Is every Christian a missionary?

This book, Words of Warning, is an analysis of people and the gospel of Christ. Under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Charles H. Spurgeon sheds light on the many ways people may refuse to come to Christ, but he also shines a brilliant light on how we can be saved. Unsaved or wavering individuals will be convicted, and if they allow it, they will be led to Christ. Sincere Christians will be happy and blessed as they consider the great salvation with which they have been saved.

The Lord Jesus said, “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.” In the heart of every believer, there is the yearning to bear much fruit, to bring many others to the Lord and to present those who are brought to him mature in Christ. Many believers are not bearing fruit as they should. They have therefore decided to be content with the fruit of Christian character. This ought not to be so. The Lord wants character, but he also wants people brought to him in large numbers and built up to be like him in every way.

Eyes to See is the story of God's incredible grace and faithfulness to a missionary family as they journeyed with their son and brother into the world of blindness.

People must be led. When there is a leader, he is followed. The spiritual leader is the one who has made the most progress in knowing God and is serving Him. Such a person has authority with God which no one can take away from him. No one can remove him from leadership. No one can put him into leadership. His intimate knowledge of God, his close walk with Him, his sacrificial service for the Lord and His people, put him apart from the others, and those who want true spiritual leadership turn to him. This is my understanding of spiritual leadership.

The messages in this book were given as the last of a series of meetings called leadership courses for the people of God in Cameroon. At the time of preparing the messages I felt that I owed it to the Lord and his people to say all that was on my heart in case it was not possible for the audience to hear me in the future. I thought I should say my last word to the Church. Here it is. I have borrowed extensively from the thoughts of Watchman Nee in writing the message “The Cross and Our Priorities.” I believe that the Cross is central in the life and ministry of the believer.

In this deeply moving narrative, Thomas Howard describes his pilgrimage from Evangelicalism (which he loves and reveres as the religion of his youth) to liturgical Christianity. He soon afterward became a Roman Catholic. He describes Evangelicalism with great sympathy and then examines more formal, liturgical worship with the freshness of someone discovering for the first time what his soul had always hungered for.

The messages in this audiobook, were given to brethren from all over Cameroon in Yaoundé at a critical point in the work. There was a real increase in numbers of those who were turning away from their sins and becoming new creatures in Christ. Many young people were beginning to receive ministry gifts and to minister in the churches. There was a need for a fresh look at the ministry and the ministers as revealed in the New Covenant.

The media is lying to you about the supposed horrible state of the world, and we swallow it - hook, line, and sinker. While the news focuses on homicides, brutal terrorist acts, and warnings about global diseases, they are telling only part of the story. In this meticulously researched audiobook, J.D. King gathers stories, statistics, and relevant data to prove his point that the world is improving.

Commission to Every Nation is more than just the story of one man's reluctant journey to begin an international mission organization. It's the story of how God used some very ordinary people to do extraordinary things - unqualified, unlikely people who took a risk and saw God glorify Himself through their crazy obedience. Woven within the story you'll learn some secrets to being used by God yourself. You'll be inspired, encouraged, and convinced that "if God can use those people then He can use me too".

With high expectations, Vanguards of a Missionary Uprising calls on Christian African-American students to step forward and lead a new international missionary movement. Celebrating their leadership potential, a veteran urban missionary makes this positive challenge from Jesus Christ's Great Commission in the Bible.

Floyd believes followers of Jesus spend too much time worrying about making mistakes when sharing their faith. All they really need to do is to invite their friends to read the New Testament with them, add some coffee and food, and jump in. His audiobook shows the fainthearted believer how to do this.

Barbara Kreiger's intriguing narrative presents the account of Clorinda Minor, a charismatic American Christian woman whose belief in the second coming prompted her to leave a comfortable life in Philadelphia in 1851 and take up agriculture in Palestine.
