Every child of God, despite our past spiritual experiences, can expect to have our faith and testimony tested during our spiritual journey. Doubt is a normal part of our faith experience. The question is not whether moments of doubt will arise in our lives, but where we will turn and who we will look to when they do arise. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, taught us where to look when doubt threatens our faith.

Paul says in 2 Timothy 4:3, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears” (telling them what they want to hear). Verse 4 says, “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” So, are the Mormons teaching fables?
