Rutger Bregman joins Gabriel Fleming in the Audible Studios to discuss his latest best-selling publication, Utopia for Realists. Rutger Bregman is one of Europe's most prominent young thinkers. Joining us at Audible Studios is household name thanks to Channel 4's Gogglebox, June Bernicoff. June, alongside her husband, Leon, joined Gogglebox from its very first season in 2013, until 2017. Unfortunately, after a short illness and complications, Leon passed away just before Christmas in 2017. After his passing, June decided that she couldn't return to Gogglebox alone. She appeared on the show as a partnership: Leon and June. She couldn't face appearing as just June. Instead, she took the opportunity to tell the story of Leon and June.

Joining us at Audible Studios is British racing driver Jenson Button, who won the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship. Button began racing at the age of eight, when his dad bought him his first kart, and he entered Formula 1 in 2000. As with the career of any F1 driver, there are ups and downs due to car issues and failures, but Button was on his way up. In 2009, Button won the Formula 1 World Championship, and at every race along the way, his father was there cheering him on.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Bill Bryson, one of Britain's best-selling nonfiction authors. Boxing superstar and national treasure Nicola Adams OBE joins Sophie Plateau in the Audible Studios. Nicola made herself a household name after becoming the first woman to win an Olympic boxing gold medal at the London 2012 games. At the next Olympics in 2016, she retained her champion status. Alongside this, she is also the reigning world, Commonwealth and European champion. Now recently turned professional, Nicola talks about the ups and downs of her career, all explained in her new autobiography, Believe.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about her book Wally Funk’s Race for Space is science writer and broadcaster Sue Nelson. Wally Funk was one of the 13 members of the 1961 Women in Space Programme. The female aviation pioneer also became the first female air safety investigator for the NTSB and the first civilian flight instructor at Fort Sill, with over 19,000 flight hours. Sue Nelson, former BBC science correspondent and Radio 4 presenter, documents Wally’s extraordinary life in her new book, Wally Funk’s Race for Space, published in 2018.

International best-selling thriller writer Peter James visits the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book, Need You Dead. As well as being a television and film producer, Peter is renowned for his brilliant series about Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace. Need You Dead is book number 13 in the series.

Joining us in the studio to talk about his latest book, Rebel Ideas, is British table tennis Olympian, author, journalist and broadcaster Matthew Syed. Known for being the ping-pong guy from popular sports podcast Flintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong Guy, Matthew Syed started his career as a table tennis player, competing in two Olympic games, and was ranked as a top player in England for 10 years. Since then, Matthew moved on to a career in journalism, writing a column in The Times and broadcasting on the BBC and Eurosport.
