It is a literary work fusing poetry with the thoughts, feelings, and perceptions of one who lives with a schizophrenic or schizoaffective disorder. I have been writing poetry since the age of 10. My poems go deep into my mind, emotions, and my spirit. They are very revealing to say the least. I wish to reach those living with this illness.

Strong Is My Middle Name is based on a true testimony on how life changed after the death of my mother. The braveness of every circumstance that God carried me through. Being strong was all I had left to endure what was ahead; and in due time, the glory of God would be revealed within me. With every mistake and disappointment, God restored me and filled the void I was missing in my life.
