Given an epilepsy diagnosis at age 49, Linda’s once solid life fell apart. Lainie Chait was diagnosed with epilepsy in 1991 at the age of 19. At the time of diagnosis, there were three roads to go down—avoidance, acceptance or rebellion. Avoidance was her first choice.
